He will have mercy

Isaiah 55:7 “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

God’s mercy has always been abundant. Those who forsake their wicked ways have always found pardon with Him.

He is a merciful God. And those who follow an evil path, thinking unrighteous thoughts, must turn to Him.

He is the God who sent His only son, Jesus, to take the punishment we deserved. Instead of facing eternal death in hell, life in heaven – with Him – is now possible.

This is the very definition of mercy.

God knows that forsaking our evil way is impossible. He gave Israel the law to make this clear.

That’s why we have His word and the Holy Spirit, who comes to live inside every believer.

God, through Jesus Christ, has provided not only salvation, but every necessary tool for living a victorious life of obedience.

Seek the abundant pardon of our merciful God today.
